Lago di Mis

Situated in the wonderful setting of the Dolomiti Bellunesi National Park, the Mis Valley can boast its homonymous artificial lake, which you can reach from south, via Sospirolo, crossing a narrow gorge overlooked by the Sperone and Piz de Vedana mountains or from north passing through the village of California (municipality of Gosaldo). Entering the Mis Valley, you can follow the road along the lake's shores which allows you to admire the Monti del Sole mountains overlooking the lake.

You can also go fishing or rowing and there are many hiking trails crossing the mountains and surrounding the lake. Worth a visit, the “Cadini del Brenton” a series of stunning gorges of green water and the Soffia Waterfall.
